Highlight the vital role of civil aviation and sustainable tourism towards the economic development, global integration and international understanding. Support and contribute through active participation in the various fora (international and national) in the development, promotion and implementation of policies and approaches aimed to foster the expansion and liberalization of civil aviation and tourism; and Focus on identifying concepts and measures, using latest technology to strengthen and upgrade aviation and tourism infrastructure.

Function as an institutional base for study of all aspects of civil aviation and tourism including their management. Disseminate knowledge and exchange of information/ideas through appropriate channels and to serve as a Resource Centre and Data Bank for matters related to civil aviation and tourism.
